Optometrist
Dr. Magre grew up in Festus, Missouri, where she attended St. Pius X High School. She then went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors from McKendree University, where she was a member of the varsity softball team. Next she continued on to receive her Doctor of Optometry Degree from The University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2021.
Upon graduation Dr. Magre was awarded the Charles Matlock Memorial Award for excellence in pediatric optometry, and the Missouri Optometric Foundation Award for Excellence in Clinical Skills.
Dr. Magre is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, and the Missouri Optometric Association.
How does Dr. Magre enjoy her free time?
In her spare time Dr. Magre enjoys spending time outdoors running and hiking, and has completed several half marathons and one full marathon with her Mom.
She also enjoys cheering on her hometown sports teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues.
Everyone was so friendly! The doctor took the time to explain things as he did them. They have the latest technology and I did not have to get my eyes dilated, which is great. I thought I would be spending all day inside because the sun hurts my eyes. It was a really great experience.
